Button launches and builds businesses with deep technologies, with numerous exits, primarily through acquisition by strategic investors, partners and customers. He has repeatedly helped establish advanced products and solutions—based on materials, semiconductors and other solid state devices, and hardware-enabled software—as cutting-edge industry standards. These enable new, often ubiquitous applications, including the world’s first under-the-hood electronics, paper-like eReaders and color LCD laptops.
