Neil Subin
Board Member
Neil currently serves as President and Chief Investment Officer for MILFAM LLC, a single-family office. Neil has extensive experience as an investor in and director of companies through various cycles of their growth and development. He has particular expertise as a special situations and activist investor, including roles as Managing Director of the investment advisor to Aspen Advisors and as Chairman of Broadbill Partners. Over his career, Neil has gained expertise in crafting corporate strategy and executing on corporate action, especially in connection with capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring. He has been an active member of numerous boards of directors and served on many creditor or shareholder committees in connection with bankruptcy proceedings. Neil has significant experience in the nuclear energy industry having served on the board of Centrus Energy Corp, a leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel and developer of advanced centrifuges for next generation nuclear power. Neil currently serves on the boards of NextNav, Inc., Alimco Financial Corp, and Frontiersman Holdings, Inc. Prior board memberships also include Phazr Inc., Federal-Mogul Corporation, Primus Telecommunications Group, Institutional Financial Markets, Inc. and Komag, Inc.
